Refund Policy

Most course content on NerdIT is free. Refunds apply to verified certificate purchases. Career program enrolment is non-refundable. Here is how it works.

1. What is free and what is paid

  • Courses: lessons, quizzes, and exams are free. You can take a course from start to finish without paying.
  • Verified certificates: optional and paid. Each one has a unique verification ID.
  • Career programs: some programs require paid enrolment before you can study them. The price is shown on the program page before you pay.

2. Certificate refunds

You can get a full refund of a certificate purchase if all of these are true:

  • You ask for the refund within 7 days of payment.
  • The certificate has not been issued or downloaded.
  • You paid through our own checkout, not through a third party.

We cannot refund a certificate purchase if:

  • The certificate has been issued, downloaded, or shared.
  • More than 7 days have passed since payment.
  • The only reason is dissatisfaction with the course content. The course is free, so you can try all of it before you buy a certificate.
  • You paid nothing because a coupon covered the full price.

3. Career program enrolment

Paid career program enrolment is non-refundable. Access starts as soon as payment is confirmed. Read the program page, its course list, and its price before you pay. The only exception is a mistaken or duplicate charge (section 5).

4. How to request a refund

Email admin@nerdit.in from the email address on your NerdIT account. Include:

  • The course or program title.
  • The order or transaction ID from your payment receipt.
  • A short note asking for a refund.

We reply within 3 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. They usually take 5–10 working days to reach your account, depending on your bank.

5. Mistaken or duplicate charges

If you were charged twice for the same item, or you think a charge is wrong, contact us at once. We refund duplicate charges in full, for certificates and programs, even after 7 days.

6. Coupons and XP

If a refunded purchase used a coupon, the refund is the amount you actually paid. Coupons and XP have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before you start a chargeback with your bank. Most issues are solved faster directly. We may suspend an account with an open chargeback until it is resolved.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in effect on the date you paid. We will email you about material changes.
